The color blue represents blue skies and summer to me. It reminds me of sitting on the beach and looking at the blue ocean and the beautiful bright blue sky. I believe the color blue is for baby toys because it is a soothing easy on the eyes color. It can evoke emotion but also be a fairly basic color in many contexts. According to VeryWellMind.com they say, "Blue calls to mind feelings of calmness and relaxation" Which I personally feel is accurate.
